About the Author
Carissa is a singer, pianist, artist, and author of her debut Children's picture book Seeds for Sharing. The granddaughter of Christian Missionaries, young Carissa grew up with a genuine and unique perspective on the virtue of giving back and making a difference through even the simplest of actions. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Sociology minor. She later received a master's degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management. While pursuing her respected degrees, she served as a founding member and President of her local Student United Way chapter and served as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer through the campus affiliate. Carissa lives in rural North Alabama with her husband and two daughters where they enjoy hiking, making music, and of course, dress-up and gardening.
Joshua B. Wichterich is an author and illustrator from Louisiana. He is also an award-winning artist, and has art featured throughout his hometown of Slidell on local magazine covers, theater posters, and art exhibits. Joshua is a children's book illustrator and has illustrated over fifty children's books.
