Discovering God's Way (DGW) Teen-Adult Year 5 Book 3: Creation vs. Evolution, by Dr. Bo Kirkwood

This workbook, entitled “Creation vs. Evolution,” written by Dr. Bo Kirkwood, and edited by Robert and Arline Harkrider, examines the issue of origins. Is man the product of evolution or a Creator? The power of God is seen in His creation, while the mind of God is revealed in the Bible.

Lesson 1 asks “Why Study Evolution?” Lesson 2 examines “Natural Selection and Survival of the Fittest.” Lesson 3 asks “Homology: What Does It Prove?” Lesson 4 looks at “Kinds.” Lesson 5 considers the implications of “Irreducible Complexity.” Lesson 6 examines “DNA.” Lesson 7 addresses “The Genome and Epigenetics.” Lesson 8 reviews “The Ascent of Man and Haldane’s Dilemma.” Lesson 9 focuses on “The Cambrian Explosion.” Lesson 10 considers various “Icons of Evolution.” Lesson 11 marvels at “Our Special Earth.” Lesson 12 addresses “The Elephant in the Room.” Lesson 13 examines “The Purpose of Life.”

    Deep discussion of Evolution

Posted by Unknown on Oct. 22, 2017

Deep discussion of evolution which may be hard for the average person to comprehend. As a trained in the medical field, I found it to be informative but at times difficult to understand. My opinion is that it would be very difficult to teach to the teen and young adult.
