Discovering Peter and His Letters

The Spirit has given us the word through pens of men like Peter. We can gain much when we understand the biographical context of his letters. We must look to Scripture to find the changes his teaching made in people’s lives by the power of the Spirit. We must read and re-read his message and be engaged with the context. We must let the Bible speak and not force interpretations that aren’t there. We must follow his God-given instructions and heed his God-given warnings. We must make sure change is taking place in our own lives as it did in Peter's.
