Most of the examples are partial or complete Old Testament verses, bringing the student in direct, early contact with the text, and unusual grammatical constructions as well as unfamiliar words are footnoted. A complete answer key to the workbook is provided on the CD-ROM accompanying the Basics of Biblical Hebrew Grammar textbook.

Gary D. Pratico (Th.D., Harvard Divinity School) is professor of Old Testament and director of the Hebrew language program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has been teaching Hebrew for nearly thirty years.

Miles V. Van Pelt (Ph.D., Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is associate professor of Old Testament and Academic Dean at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.
