We have used these at church for years to go along with our 3-year cycle, so I decided to use them at home with my children as well. At church, they're spread over 3 years because we use them only once or twice a week. At home, with 5 days in a classroom week, we went through the series in only 1 school year (9 months). I found this was an excellent way to give my kids a deeper understanding of the Bible as a whole without the long span from beginning to end causing them to forget key pieces of the puzzle.
We are using these as a 3.5 year program at church for all classes. Every loves them and report how clear they make the Bible story. They are easy to understand and true to the Word of God. I like the way they make the timelines clear...placing the prophets and leaders of the peoples in proper order.
I love these books. I plan to start in # one in January and study the whole Bible in the time frame he suggests. I have other Waldron books and love how easy they are to understand and how true they are to God's Word.
