Shaping Hearts Publications launched its Young Teen Bible Studies in 2011. These studies are written especially for 6th to 8th grade students, but are adaptable to use with other teens. The project includes 12 series to be published covering the entire Bible. Each series includes a Student Workbook, Teacher's Guide, and Extra Stuff.
(Note: Not all twelve series are available at this time. We will add these to the website as soon as they become available.)
Young Teen Bible Studies feature:
- 24 lessons, allowing for flexibility in a 13-week quarter
- Perfect for use in a Sunday / Wednesday combination
- Odd-numbered lessons feature solid Bible study
- Even-numbered lessons coordinate with related topics relevant to teens
- Each Student Workbook has companion Teacher's Guide and Supplemental materials, called Extra Stuff

Student Workbook
- 24 lessons, allowing for flexibility in a 13-week quarter
- Odd-numbered lessons follow the Bible text or topic; even-numbered lessons coordinate with related application-oriented worksheets
Teacher’s Guide
- Includes a memory verse method, lesson plans, and an illustration/application activity
- Assumes that the teacher also has a Student Workbook
Extra Stuff
- Large graphics for doors, walls, or boards
- Enlarged Memory Verse cards
- Cards featuring each lesson’s theme
