Posted on Jun. 24, 2019
Tammy Woodward grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL where she graduated from Central High School in 1982. Tammy earned an AA degree in General Studies from Florida College in 1984 and a BA degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from the University of South Florida in 1986. She was an Elementary Art Educator for the School District of Hillsborough County from 1989-1996 and transferred to Independent Day School in 1997 to teach for a year. Tammy and her husband, Pete, met in FL before they moved to Athens and opened their own business, “Heart and Hand Antiques.” During her 12 years at CEI Bookstore, she began as a Sales Clerk, an Assistant Manager, then Bookstore Manager. Tammy has spent most of her career for Truth Publications as a Sales Manager and also served as an Events Representative and Events Coordinator. Tammy and Pete reside in Athens with their dog, Lucky. They are loved by their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Tammy was scheduled to speak at the 2019 Truth Lectures, but due to health issues she will not be able to do so. Tammy remains in our constant prayers. She is truly the heartbeat of CEI Bookstore and an inspiration to all who know her. We love you Miss Tammy!
In honor of Miss Tammy, we have compiled a special bundle of products. She loved Truth Publications products as well as many other resources that we make available. This bundle contains a few of her favorites along with the 2019 Truth Lectures book and audio. Click here for the set.
