| Issues Facing 21st-Century Christians by Mike Willis is a two-volume series that seeks to prepare Christians to face the temptations presented by secular culture in America.
BOOK ONE: WORLDVIEWS The book of Judges reminds us of a truth we may not want to hear: We are always one generation away from losing our church. The book begins by relating the struggle the Israelites had in conquering and driving out the Canaanites. Sadly, the people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the Lord which He had done for Israel. When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel (Judg. 2:7, 10). We want to save every child we can. To do that we must make them aware of the dangers facing them: We need to identify the sinful things in our society so that they will not accept that which is false because they did not recognize it. To better prepare ourselves to face the temptations of the twenty-first century, the prevailing issues in our society, this series of workbooks discusses the issues presented by secular culture in America.
