From the beginning of the Lord’s church in Acts 2 to modern times and the prevailing idea— “Attend the Church of Your Choice” —it becomes rather confusing. Where did the denominations originate? What do they believe? What was the Reformation Movement—what were they reforming? What was the Restoration Movement—what were they restoring? Oddly enough, the greatest lesson of history is that we haven’t learned the lessons of history.
