"This hymnal released Oct. 18, 2010 is Large, 6 inch by 9 inch format set in shape notes. A total of 1007 of the best traditional and the newest contemporary songs blended into this new, beautiful hymnal. Nearly two years in the making, we have worked hard to make this a complete hymnal. 

In Songs For Worship And Praise, we have taken the best traditional songs from hymnals like Songs of the Church, with arrangements you know and love, merged them with the best hymns from Songs of Faith and Praise, then added the best Praise and Worship songs from the Praise Hymnal. We then added newer songs not yet in the Praise Hymnal, and also included additional traditional songs not usually found in other hymnals.

The hymns are arranged by topic into eighteen sections (see list below). By design, we have maximized every available space to insert hymns. We have included a scripture text at the top of each hymn for you to reference in your Bible. There are indexes for hymn tune names, meters, author and composer, as well as a title and first line index."
